A booking engine for all needs
In order to meet the varied requirements of the rentalers of sporting goods, RENT-ALL has developed a engine powerful and highly configurable online reservation. Three different booking methods have been identified:
- Booking of the category without checking availability:
The user books online a price category without having the possibility to choose a specific model or even the size. - Category reservation with availability check:
The user books a price category online without having the possibility to choose a specific model or even the size. However, the system will reserve a specific tool (ski or bike), for the period chosen by the user. - Reservation of a specific tool, with availability check:
The user books a specific bike or ski online, choosing from the list of items available in the rental. When an item is booked or rented in the store, the online availability is automatically removed for the rental period, avoiding any overbooking problem.
You decide whether to allow a reservation of a specific model or just a price category.
For example, I can book a ski of the category '3 stars' without being able to choose between Head, Salomon or to book exactly that ski of that brand and that height.

If the reservation concerns a specific equipment, the booking engine checks the availability of the bike or ski in the period indicated,also checking that it has not been rented in store in the same period (the last functionality requires the use of the RENT-ALL rental management software).
In the case of booking a simple category, the booking engine checks and monitors the quantity of bikes or skis made available by the rental company for web users, divided by category (this feature does not require the use of the RENT-ALL software).

EXACTLY! When an item is rented in store, the software denies the possibility to book that item in the same period.
